The Studio Fort Worth is Closing: Thank You For 6 Years

Dear Community,

I’m writing to share an update from my heart about our Fort Worth studio.

I’ve made the decision to close at the end of January, with our class schedule continuing through January 23. Our Final Celebration Class will be Friday, January 23 at 8:30am, led by me.

Before going further, I want to be very clear: this closure applies only to our Fort Worth studio. The Studio Pantego is not closing. Its doors remain open, its schedule continues, and the heart of The Studio lives on there.

How it began

I opened our Fort Worth studio in 2020, during an uncertain and deeply challenging time in the world. My intention was to create a safe haven for movement, breath, and human connection when we needed each other more than ever.

Over the past six years, our Fort Worth studio has held space for practice, growth, healing, resilience, and community. In the midst of isolation and fear, it became a place to gather, to feel, and to remember our shared humanity. I’m incredibly grateful to each of you who showed up and helped shape what this space became.

Holding this transition with care

I know the closing of a familiar space can bring up a range of emotions—sadness, surprise, gratitude, grief, or uncertainty. That’s natural. Yoga teaches us that endings are part of the practice too, and that growth sometimes asks us to soften our grip, stay present with what’s arising, and allow our relationship to practice to evolve beyond familiar forms.

As the world has reopened, the wellness landscape has shifted. There are now many ways and places to practice, connect, and care for ourselves. While the timing is quick, the decision itself comes from a long, thoughtful evaluation of what it means to sustainably run a small business and to continue showing up with integrity and presence.

Most importantly, thank you for being part of this space—or every breath, every class, every season you walked through these doors. This community has been shaped by the people who practice here, and I will always carry deep gratitude for what we created together.

Please continue practicing with us in Pantego
